Russian President will discuss North Korea in Vietnam

The Russian president and his US counterpart plan to discuss North Korea at the APEC summit in Da Nang.
Russian and US presidents will discuss talks at the summit and details of the talks are still being worked out, Reuters quoted Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The two leaders will probably focus on the Korean situation and will exchange views on other pressing international issues.
President Trump is on a trip to Asia from Nov. 3-14, with stops in Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines. In Vietnam, Trump will attend APEC in Da Nang and visit Hanoi on November 10 and 11.
Konstantin Vnukov, Russia's ambassador to Vietnam last month confirmed to VnExpress that Putin would attend the APEC summit.
The APEC Summit will take place from November 6 to November 11, with the participation of leaders from 21 member economies and about 10,000 delegates.
Russian leaders meet for the first time on July 7, at the G7 summit in Hamburg, Germany. The meeting was 2 hours 15 minutes, much longer than the 30 minute plan. US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said at the time that the two leaders had made a quick connection and had "very clear consensus".
