Billboard recently became the center of attention due to their actions towards Taylor Swift, which angered many Swifties.

This famous music magazine honored the artists on the list of “The Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century”. They previously ranked Swift second, emphasizing the singer’s success, influence, and popularity.

The milestone was later commemorated by Billboard, which uploaded a montage showing multiple clips of Swift’s old music videos. However, the clip quickly went viral for the wrong reasons as Billboard included a nude wax statue of Swift’s likeness, causing backlash from fans.

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the hashtag #BillboardIsOverParty became trending and many fans united in demanding a public apology from Billboard.

Finally, Billboard updated its post congratulating Swift with a note. “We deeply apologize to Taylor Swift and all of our readers and viewers that in our video celebrating Swift’s achievements, we included a clip that falsely portrayed her,” it stated.

“We have removed the clip from our video and truly regret the harm we caused with this error,” Billboard continued.
