Rapper Fatman Scoop collapsed on stage and was treated for injuries during a live performance in Connecticut on Friday.
Footage captured by concertgoers captured the tense moment the beloved rapper suddenly collapsed to the ground after a medical emergency occurred mid-performance.
In the video, Fatman Scoop, whose real name is Isaac Freeman III, stirred up the crowd at Town Center Park in Hamden by saying, “Let’s make some noise!”
As Hamden’s energy surged, the “Be Faithful” rapper urged the crowd to make more noise. As he walked up the stairs to the DJ booth, the hip-hop artist could be heard breathing heavily into the microphone.
Fatman Scoop stares at the audience from his position behind the booth, aiming to energize them.
The 53-year-old artist was trying to climb onto a platform when he got stuck and eventually disappeared from view, leaving fans terrified.
Crowds quickly gathered to support him, trying their best to save him.

Another video shared on X, formerly Twitter, shows a member of Fatman Scoop’s entourage approaching the DJ booth and abruptly turning off the music, leaving an eerie silence over the entire bar.
A healthcare professional can be seen performing forceful chest compressions on the rapper through the DJ booth, partially obscuring the view.
In the clip, a member of the rapper group took the microphone and said: “There are no fans on this stage.”
At 8:33 p.m. Friday, emergency crews quickly arrived at the scene, quickly loaded Fatman Scoop onto a stretcher, and rushed him to the hospital for medical care.
Following the incident, TMZ reported that Hamden Mayor Lauren Garrett confirmed the “Put Your Hands Up” rapper was taken to a medical facility by ambulance.
She called on the community to always remember Fatman Scoop and pray for him as he faces this uncertain situation.
