21 Savage seemingly dissed Kendrick Lamar on Lil Baby’s ‘WHAM’ album

21 Savage has choice words from Lil Baby’s latest studio album WHATcausing fans to question whether the relationship between him and Kendrick Lamar is on again.

21 Savage – real name Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph – is no stranger to taking jabs on the track, with fans speculating that he dissed Lamar on Drake’s track It’s up, released in August.

Now, fans — including Kai Cenat — are closely analyzing the lyrics to track 13 “Outfit” from Lil Baby’s fourth studio album, which begins streaming Friday, May 3. 1.

“Bring Drac’ with me and he knows kung fu / If I hit him in the jaw, he’ll sue,” Savage’s lyrics read, sparking debate about whether the lyrics are aimed at Lamar or not. Fans speculated that Savage’s reference to “kung fu” – one of Lamar’s nicknames – was a reference to the shade.

Many people feel that calling bars “diss” is an exaggeration, while others are not so sure.

“Oh okay, okay,” Cenat, 23, said excitedly as he reviewed the lyrics on stream. “He didn’t even say ‘Big Drac come with me’ he said ‘Take Drac with me’,” the streamer reiterated. “You made it clear.”

Cenat’s review of the song received a whopping 1.5 million views on criticism of the streamer’s impulsive reaction.

“‘Bring Drac’ to me and he knows kung fu, if I hit him in the jaw he’ll sue’ that’s not even close to a protest,” one fan wrote in the comments. “I love me a good feature of 21 savage like everyone else but these abc ass rhymes don’t touch Kendrick,” a second person teased. “You just put Kendrick’s name in a tweet to get more attention, lmao. This has nothing to do with Kendrick my guy,” a third person replied.

The incident comes months after a mix-up with 21 Savage’s previous lyrics allegedly aimed at Kendrick Lamar in the August track it’s upwhich Savage’s manager later denied was a dissent. The lyrics state: “Made a few songs that make him hot right now/Hit his a*s and think he’s ‘Pac right now.”

DJ Akademiks spoke on behalf of Savage’s manager, Meezy, who asserted that “It was definitely not a shot at Lamar” – who is disputing the song Not like us went on to become an anthem in 2024.

“That doesn’t happen at Kendrick Lamar,” Akademiks said during his livestream. “Meezy was like…’Yo, that definitely wasn’t aimed at Kendrick.’ He literally said it would be meaningless because Kendrick has more than one hit, a few songs. He has a lot of songs. XXL.
