Ashton Irwin of rock band 5 Seconds of Summer has reflected on the passing of Liam Payne.

In a post on his X account, Irwin called Payne “kind” before noting that he was “confused” by his passing and called his death “a loss big for many people.”

This is not the first time members of 5SOS have spoken out following Payne’s death. They previously shared a joint statement to their Instagram Stories on October 18.
“We love you, Liam, and we will never forget the impact you had on our lives. You truly believed in us for which we are forever grateful. We had no idea.” whether we thank you enough,” the post said Everybody.
“You have always been so kind to us. It was an honor to start this journey with you, we will never forget your presence in our lives. There is a bright light in you, We see it all the time. We’re so destructive to the world.” Turn off the lights,” it continued.
They concluded: “We hope you will always sing there. With all our love.”
5 Seconds of Summer became a huge worldwide success after they toured with One Direction as part of One Direction’s Take Me Home Tour in 2013. Member Louis Tomlinson discovered them on YouTube.
5SOS opened for One Direction again when they appeared as part of the Where We Are Tour in 2014.
Everybody reports that Payne and Tomlinson were business partners of 5SOS, but resigned from the band’s production company in 2015.
Payne was pronounced dead on October 16 after he fell from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
