The ending of George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s comedy-thriller Wolfs set up a sequel, and there are already a few ways Wolfs 2 could bring the fixers together again. A sequel to Wolfs was confirmed before the movie was even released, so Pitt and Clooney’s unnamed characters will return. After the final shootout at the end of Wolfs, however, it’s not entirely clear how they could come back. On top of that, both of the fixers made it clear that even knowing the other exists is a hazard for their job, which is why Dimitri’s men came after them towards the end of the film.
Even though there doesn’t seem to be many ways for Wolfs 2 to happen, the original movie left quite a few loose threads to be tied up. The conspiracy to “clean” the fixers at the end of the movie still needs to be clarified, their shared employer needs to be identified, and their fate at the diner needs to be revealed. Since there are still so many questions that must be answered in Wolfs 2, its worth investigating how exactly the fixers could join forces again for a sequel.
9 Clooney & Pitt Can Pool Their Resources & Talents
Working Together Would Give The Fixers New Job Opportunities
Close
Perhaps the most obvious way Wolfs 2 can bring Margaret’s Man (Clooney) and Pam’s Man (Pitt) together again is by having them work with each other. A big part of the message of Wolfs was that being a “lone wolf” isn’t good, and that both fixers need human connection. Partnering up would uphold the message of the original movie and open up quite a few possibilities for Wolfs 2. The fixers would be able to clean up much bigger and messier crime scenes in a single night if they pooled their resources and talents, which would be the perfect setup for a sequel.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney are the stars of Apple TV+’s new movie, Wolfs. The movie doesn’t reveal either character’s name, and here’s why.
Additionally, since they discovered their shared employer tried to clean them, the fixers will probably have a much harder time finding work. They might begin working together simply out of necessity, and their search for jobs could lead them into more dangerous situations from clients who aren’t as well vetted or dependable. Even if they don’t join forces for the sake of their employment, though, the fixers would likely team up for another reason that could tie into the plot of Wolfs 2.

Margaret Is The Clearest Link To The Conspiracy To Clean The Fixers

At the end of Wolfs, both of the fixers tossed around quite a few theories about who set them up to be cleaned. One of the clearest possibilities they considered was that Margaret, the District Attorney of New York and Clooney’s client, was “tough on crime” and may have orchestrated the entire night to both eliminate the cleaners and start a gang war. The fixers will almost have to find out who exactly is trying to kill them, which could put them up against Margaret in Wolfs 2. Such a powerful enemy would also require another team-up to take them down.

Apple TV+’s Wolfs ends with some major plot twists, including a revealing mid-credit scene that’s worth breaking down. Here’s what we know.

Even if it wasn’t Margaret pulling the strings, however, she would still have information on the fixers’ true enemy. If Wolfs 2 does directly follow the ending of the original, then the fixers may go after Margaret together just to find out where she got Clooney’s number from. Additionally, the fixers could search for Pam as well, since the ending of Wolfs revealed she and Margaret both got their numbers from the same place. In any case, finding out who’s really trying to kill them would almost certainly bring the fixers together again.
7 Dimitri Could Look For Revenge Against Pitt & Clooney
The Fixers Killed Three Of Dimitri’s Men & Disrupted The Wedding
Close
Though he didn’t pose nearly the threat the fixers thought he would in Wolfs, Dimitri could still be a major opponent in the sequel. Dimitri, the leader of the Croatian gang who hosted the wedding at Club Ice, could be a serious problem in Wolfs 2. The ending of Wolfs revealed that Dimitri knew they were being set up to die yet didn’t warn them. Additionally, the fact that the fixers killed his bodyguard and two of his men and also disrupted the wedding likely wouldn’t sit well with the mobster, and he could join the list of people who want to “clean” them.
Wolfs
is available to stream on Apple TV+
Even though the fixers easily dispatched Dimitri’s men towards the end of Wolfs, he could be a much bigger problem in Wolfs 2. The men the fixers killed were sloppy, emotional, and out there on their own. If Dimitri himself is looking for payback, the men he’ll send will be much more effective and much harder to kill. There’s even a chance that Dimitri’s men were the ones who opened fire on the diner at the end of the movie, which would perfectly position him to be the main antagonist of Wolfs 2.
6 Another Gang Could Clash With The Fixers In Wolfs 2
The Fixers Mentioned That Discretion Is Worth Killing For In Wolfs
Close
If Dimitri doesn’t come looking for the fixers in Wolfs 2, another gang easily could. Margaret’s Man and Pam’s Man stepped on quite a few toes in Wolfs, like how they indirectly caused the bloodbath between LaGrange’s men and the Albanians. Either one – or potentially even both – of those gangs could be trying to get revenge against the fixers in Wolfs 2. Both of the fixers proved that they’re extremely competent on their own, but facing down an entire criminal organization could be cause enough for them to join together again.

Wolfs introduced a few major gangs that could be villains in Wolfs 2, but the sequel could also just as easily introduce a new criminal empire to serve as antagonists. Wolfs went to great lengths to explain that if any of the fixers’ respective clients, like Dimitri, knew they were working together, they would have them killed to protect their secrecy. The fixers have almost certainly done work for any number of New York gangs, and a previously unmentioned group could come after them in Wolfs 2.
5 The Fixers Could Leave New York For A New City
Things Are Getting Dangerous In New York – The Fixers Could Leave In Wolfs 2
Close
If none of the potential problems the fixers could face in Wolfs 2 work for the sequel, they may join forces to leave their problems behind. Wolfs was filmed in New York, where it took place, but the city became a lot more dangerous for the fixers by the end of the movie. From their shared employer to the various gangs and even the District Attorney, it seems like almost everyone in the city wants to take a shot at Margaret’s Man and Pam’s Man. The easiest way to deal with those threats may be to just leave them behind.

The new comedy-thriller Wolfs featured quite a few New York City locations, but where was the movie actually filmed, and are all its locations real?
If the fixers do decide to run away from New York, they’d likely have to work together to figure out the intricacies of a new city. A big part of their expertise came from knowing places, people, and things around New York: having a working relationship with a doctor in Chinatown was crucial to both of their jobs, and knowing their way around the city’s underground kept them alive. Trying to restart their businesses in a new city like Chicago, Los Angeles, or anywhere else would require the same amount of expertise, and they’d likely want to share any leads they get.
4 Wolfs 2 Could Be A Prequel About The Fixers’ Early Careers
Clooney & Pitt Narrowly Missed Each Other In The Past
Close
There was plenty of setup for Wolfs 2 to directly continue the story of the original movie, but there’s also a chance that the sequel moves backwards in time. At June’s restaurant, the fixers mentioned how they narrowly missed each other in the past. Pam’s Man had been recovering in the basement from a shrapnel injury from an explosion, and Margaret’s Man was there at the same time. Wolfs 2 could easily make use of that simple line by being a prequel that depicts the situations that put both of the fixers into June’s building at the same time, where they narrowly missed each other.
The fixers also mentioned a handful of earlier jobs that could be the subject of
Wolfs 2
, including their work for the Croatian gang.
There are both benefits and drawbacks to making Wolfs 2 a prequel, though. On the plus side, Wolfs already set up exactly this story, so it wouldn’t be a huge leap to simply depict the fixers’ respective situations. It also seems to have happened shortly before Wolfs, so a prequel wouldn’t have the same issue with the age of its actors that most prequels do. Conversely, since they hadn’t met at the time, making Wolfs 2 a prequel would also eliminate the buddy dynamic between Clooney and Pitt that made the original so endearing.
3 The Fixers Could Train The Kid In Wolfs 2
The Fixers Clearly Like The Kid, & They Could Teach Him How To Clean Crime Scenes
Close
Though it may be a bit of a stretch, Wolfs 2 could not only reunite the fixers, but it could also bring the Kid back into the mix. Near the end of Wolfs, when Margaret’s Man was about to kill the Kid, Pam’s Man told him to plant the drugs at the crime scene, and he asked him “what story are you trying to tell?” That almost seemed like Pam’s Man was trying to teach the Kid how to be a professional fixer, and Wolfs 2 could lean into that idea even further.

Though they seemed to like him, the Kid wasn’t the smartest character in Wolfs. If the fixers did decide to train him to follow in their footsteps, it would likely take both of them to get him up to speed. Training a new recruit would also be the perfect setup for a sequel to a comedy-thriller, and it would be the best possible way to include the Kid in Wolfs 2. It would simultaneously explain why the Kid wasn’t in college and give the fixers another absurd situation to struggle through.
2 June Could Bring The Fixers Together Again For Wolfs 2
If June Was In Danger, Pitt & Clooney Would Team Up To Rescue Her
Close
Before the fixers met each other, they had one thing in common, June, and the Chinatown doctor could be the key to bringing the two together again in Wolfs 2. Both Pam’s Man and Margaret’s Man were extremely fond of June, referring to her as “the best” on several occasions and alluding to the idea that she was the only doctor they trusted. If Wolfs 2 puts June in danger in some way, it would be more than enough reason for the fixers to team up again. They both like June too much to let their egos get in the way of rescuing her.

There’s also a few very easy ways Wolfs 2 could put June in jeopardy. The fixers have a stunning number of enemies, from Margaret to their employer to Dimitri and the other gangs. Any of them would do anything to eliminate the fixers. June is also a very well-known associate of both fixers: the Chinatown lookout saw both of them go into June’s building, so they must know she helped them. June would be the perfect way to keep the fixers together and use some of the threats Wolfs already set up.
1 Clooney & Pitt Could Be Forced To Work Together Again
The Fixers’ Shared Employer Could Use Some Leverage To Have Them Work Together
Close
Most of the ideas for how the fixers could come together again in Wolfs 2 concern them joining forces willingly, but there’s also a chance someone could make them work together. Their shared employer is clearly a very powerful and intelligent person, as they orchestrated the entire night and nearly upended the entire New York underground. The employer probably has more dastardly plans in store, and they might need to use the fixers to see some of those plans come to fruition.
No matter how it turns out, however, the sequel to Wolfs needs to bring the fixers back together again.
There are also plenty of reasons why the employer would need both Margaret’s Man and Pam’s Man. Wolfs was basically proof that they’re much more capable together than they are apart, and that they can get quite a bit done in a single night with each other’s help. The employer would almost certainly be able to finish their original plan of pitting the gangs of New York against each other if both of the fixers were helping them. No matter how it turns out, however, the sequel to Wolfs needs to bring the fixers back together again.
