He began performing at the age of seven, when his brother Nick Carter’s band, the Backstreet Boys, was formed. Aaron Charles Carter was born on December 7, 1987, in Tampa, Florida, USA, to Robert Gene Carter and Jane Elizabeth Carter, who ran a retirement community.
He has five sisters: Virginia Marie Carter, Taryn Dobson, Bobby Jean Carter (BJ), Leslie Carter and his twin sister Angel Carter, who is a model. In addition, he has an older brother named Nick Carter, who was a member of the Backstreet Boys (1986-2012). His other brother is Caden Brent Carter.
