Reports say the helicopter was en route to Las Vegas when the fatal crash occurred in California, USA. The crash site, near Nipton on the edge of the Mojave Desert, became the scene of a tragic accident involving a Eurocopter EC 130.

A helicopter carrying six people tragically crashed late Friday night, marking the state’s second fatal helicopter crash in less than a week. The crash comes on the heels of another crash when a Navy helicopter carrying five service members crashed during a routine training flight in Pine Valley, California.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials reported receiving reports of a plane crash near Baker shortly after 10 p.m. Friday. Despite efforts to search for survivors, authorities confirmed no survivors were found.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed the crash, saying it occurred near Nipton, east of Highway 15 near Halloran Springs.
