early life
Adekunle Kosoko was born on January 28, 1987 in the Kosoko royal family of Lagos State, Nigeria.
Growing up, Adekunle Gold was interested and passionate about music and always listened to the songs of King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey.
Therefore, he continued to turn his dream into reality and composed his first song “Sade” in 2002 at the age of 15.

Adekunle Gold started his career as a musician in 2010 to date and has since produced three albums and multiple singles.
After writing his first song at the age of 15, he broke up from the band he started with school friends. In 2014, he went solo.
He is also popularly known as the King of Photoshop on social media due to his skillful editing and posting of a photo of him hugging Tiwa Savage.
