Adele’s Munich shows in jeopardy after final rehearsals cancelled, intensive training for European residency

“Adele In Munich” is facing uncertainty after its final show was canceled.

Adele is set to take the stage at the newly built 80,000-seat Munich Messe stadium in Germany this week. But the “Hello” singer suffered a setback during her European tour just before her first show on Friday.

According to the Daily Mail, the final rehearsal was suddenly canceled due to concerns about severe thunderstorms and heavy rain, forcing the Grammy-winning singer and her team to decide to postpone.

A statement from concert organizers cited safety concerns as the reason for canceling the rehearsal.

But severe weather also threatened her first performance in Munich.

The German city’s weather outlook remains a matter of concern, with “moderate gusts from the west to northwest” forecast in some areas and the possibility of “scattered showers or thunderstorms” from Friday and Saturday, particularly in the vicinity of the Alps.

Although Adele’s first performance is scheduled for Friday, about 5% of tickets for this month’s shows are still unsold.

But they are expected to be sold out, as the upcoming 10-date tour will be her last show of the year, excluding other sold-out shows in Las Vegas.

Faced with mounting pressure to return to the stadium stage, the “Rolling in the Deep” hitmaker is determined to shake off her tour-cancelling reputation. Her final world tour stop at Wembley in 2017 was overshadowed by illness.

Problems also continued during Adele’s Las Vegas tour, when the show was abruptly canceled due to dissatisfaction with the production and COVID-related complications.

The award-winning singer then had to postpone 10 performances due to vocal problems.

The latest update on Adele’s upcoming concert comes after the mother-of-one revealed she has been training like a professional “athlete” as she prepares for her Munich tour.

The 36-year-old has been training hard and working hard, joking that her incredible strength could push mountains by herself.

During one of her “Weekend with Adele” shows in Las Vegas, she happily told the audience, “I’m back to working out hard in the gym like never before, I’m working out two or three times a day.”

Adele added, “My butt is rock solid again! I could move mountains with my butt. I’ve been training like a madman. The reason I’m training like an athlete again is because that phase was really huge.”
