Adesua Etomi was born in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria to parents Mr. and Mrs. Etomi, Edo. Her father is from the Ishan tribe and her mother, Eniwaju Etomi, is from the Yoruba tribe.
She came into this world on February 22, 1988. Her father was a soldier and her mother was an engineer and pastor.
Adesua Etomi’s Yoruba name is Tolulope. She is the youngest of two older siblings, Tosin Etomi and Temitayo Etomi. After the death of their father, she and her siblings were raised by their mother. She spent her growing up years in Owerri before moving to Lagos State with her family.
