Biography
Ajuri Ngelale (born 12 November 1986) is a Nigerian journalist who served as senior special adviser and assistant to Muhammadu Buhari.
He has worked as an editor, reporter and writer for various Nigerian newspapers.
He is the author of two books: The Struggle for Nigeria’s Soul and Buhari: From General to President.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has also approved the appointment of Chief Ajuri Ngelale as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. The appointment takes effect from 31 July 2023 and will remain in effect until the end of the tenure of this administration unless otherwise decided by the President.

Early life and education
Ajuri Ngelale is a Nigerian journalist who was born and raised in the United States, although he spent part of his childhood in Ogoni, a small village in Rivers State. Born on November 12, 1986, in his native state, Rivers State, Nigeria, Ajuri Ngelale’s tribe is Ogoni.
