Early life and education
Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr was born on April 29, 1988 in Mampong town in the Ashanti region of Ghana and is currently 35 years old.
He is the only child of parents Kwadwo Akwaboah and Agnes Akwaboah. His father is a well-known high society musician who has written songs for legendary artists such as Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede and Pat Thomas.
His mother is a retired teacher and a singer in the church choir. Growing up in a musical family, young Akwaboa was exposed to various musical genres from an early age.
He began playing the piano at the age of three, having no formal training but learning to play by ear, and attended Mapon Preparatory School and later St. Hubert’s Seminary, where he excelled academically and musically.
