Travis Barker’s children are being affected by the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.
While they remain unharmed, Travis’ daughter, Alabama Barker, shared the news that she was forced to leave the house due to ongoing issues.
“Just evacuated my home due to wildfire in Los Angeles, please be safe!! They said the fire was spreading to the soccer field in a matter of seconds,” she posted to her Instagram story.
Her brother, Landon, was also forced to go on the run and shared his own statement on the account on social media.
“Just evacuated and prayed for everyone that the fire was over [affected]”, he said alongside a photo of his face.
The fires in California became so bad that governor Gavin Newsom had to declare a state of emergency.
“This is an extremely dangerous wind storm, creating extreme fire danger – and we are not out of the woods yet,” he said. We witnessed the devastating effects of these fires in the Pacific Palisades and they spread rapidly in a matter of minutes.” a statement via CBS.
“We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the fire experts and first responders who quickly responded to this dangerous fire. If you are in Southern California, please pay attention to the weather forecast and follow all instructions from emergency officials,” Newsom shared.
To date, more than 5,000 acres have burned. LA Times and more than 1,000 structures were destroyed in the process. Two people were killed in the fire.
Many celebrities were forced to leave their homes as the fire continued to spread. Reality TV star Heidi Montag and her husband, Spencer Pratt, lost their home in a fire. Schitt Creek actor Eugene Levy was also forced to flee the fire, told LA Times that “The smoke looks quite black and intense.”
Actor James Woods detailed his account of the fire on his official X account.
“We are so lucky to have the LA firefighters and police do their job well. We are safe and out. There are several elementary schools in our neighborhood and the community has There was a huge effort to safely evacuate the children. LA Fire and LAPD,” he said alongside a clip of the fire.
