“Alan Killer 2” rental cabin keys and container storage location
In Alan Wake 2, players can find valuable cult stashes in rental cabins. To access it, you need the Lake Cabins Storage Key. Please follow these steps to find it:
- From the hut with the cult’s hideout, go north and enter hut #3 (second hut from the right).
- Exit through the east door, continue north, and squat under a tree.
- Pass the cabin on the left and continue north, past a pickup truck.
- Using your flashlight, look to the left for a tree with a yellow “2” painted on it.
- Collect the Lake Cabin Storage Key from the ground near the base of that tree.
With the key in hand, return to the Rental Cabin cult hideout to retrieve valuable items. This step also brings you closer to getting Alan Wake 2’s Water Beacon Key, which unlocks more supplies and manuscript pages. Remember, to obtain this key, every Cult Storage Room must be opened, and the Rental Cabin Storage Room is no exception.
Additionally, near cabin 4 (next to the cabin mentioned in step 4), there is a nursery rhyme puzzle. Solving this will reward you with a Coffee Cup Charm, which when equipped gives Saga an extra chance of survival. Completing all nursery rhymes in Alan Wake 2 is crucial to obtaining the Father Doll.

Alan Wake 2 gameplay
In Alan Wake II, the gameplay is different from the first game. This is a survival horror game where you see the characters from the outside rather than from their perspective. You can play as Alan Wake or Saga Anderson in two separate stories. You can choose which story to play first, but some parts can only be played as Saga or Eren.
Both characters travel through different locations and fight enemies using guns and flashlights. Shining a flashlight on an enemy weakens them but drains their battery. You have to be careful how you use batteries and bullets to survive. When an enemy approaches, Allen or Saga can quickly dodge.
There is also a detective part in the game. When you play as Saga, you can pause the game and travel to a special place in her mind called the “Heartland.” It’s like a 3D menu where you can see Saga’s ideas. Here you connect clues on the board to solve the main mystery and get to know the characters. Just like in the first game, you’ll find several pages of manuscripts that hint at what’s going to happen next. But in Alan Wake II, there is also a system where you can choose what to say in dialogue, which will affect the development of the story.
