Early Life & Education

Alphonso Davies, now 23 years old, was born on November 2, 2000 in Buduburam, a refugee camp in Ghana. He is the fourth child among his six siblings.

His parents, Debeah and Victoria Davies, originally lived in Monrovia, the capital of Liberia. However, they were forced to flee during the Second Liberian Civil War, displacing hundreds of thousands of Liberians. In 2005, the Davies family immigrated to Canada, eventually settling in Edmonton.
