She then worked as a communications intern for Congressman Tom McClintock and as an associate producer on The Laura Ingraham Show.

During the 2012 presidential election, Griffin served as a spokesperson for the Republican National Committee on College Campuses, where she traveled the country to discuss youth voting rights.

She went on to work as Press Secretary for Congressman Mark Meadows and later became Communications Director for the Freedom Caucus in the United States House of Representatives.
