Early life
Andrew Thomlinson, also known as Andrew Roane Dick, was born in Charleston, South Carolina, on December 21, 1965, and grew up in Chicago. Before moving to Chicago in 1979, he lived with his family in Connecticut.
He also lived in Pennsylvania, New York, and Yugoslavia as a child. Lassiter High School was his alma mater. During his senior year of high school, Dick appeared in several stage productions.
