Anne Wojcicki was born on July 28, 1973. She was born and raised in Palo Alto, California, United States.
Anne Wojcicki is the youngest child in the family. Her eldest daughter is Susan Wojcicki, who is currently the CEO of YouTube, and her second daughter, Janet Wojcicki, is an anthropologist and epidemiologist.
Her parents are Esther Wojcicki, an educator, of Jewish descent, and her father is Stanley Wojcicki, a Polish emeritus professor of physics at Stanford University.

Anne Wojcicki then received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Yale University in 1996. While studying at Yale University, she played for the school’s women’s ice hockey team.
