Career

Jain’s career began on Wall Street after he completed his MBA. He started as a derivatives research analyst at Kidder, Peabody & Co.

In 1988, he joined Merrill Lynch and spent seven years founding and running the global hedge fund insurance group.

During this time, he became acquainted with Edson Mitchell, an influential investment banker who became Jain’s advisor.

In 1995, Jain followed Mitchell to Deutsche Bank, where they were tasked with establishing a world-class investment banking division in London.
