Early life and education
Anthony Scaramucci was born on January 6, 1964, to construction worker Alexander Scaramucci and Italian-American mother Marie DeFeo Scaramucci. His family lived on Long Island, New York, but his grandparents raised him in Port Washington.
His grandfather, Alessandro Scaramucci, was an immigrant who moved from Gualdo Tadino, Umbria, to the United States in search of greener pastures. He has two siblings: David Scaramucci and Susan Scaramucci Mandato.
Anthony Scaramucci grew up in a middle-class family and was the first child in his family to earn a college degree.
Anthony Scaramucci graduated from Tufts University and Harvard Law School. During this time, he met future US President Barack Obama, future Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and future Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. These relationships laid the foundation for his entry into politics.
Career
Anthony Scaramucci started working at Goldman Sachs in 1989 and left in 1996. He then went on to found “Oscar Capital Administration” and served as the head of the Venture board.
After a few years, he founded SkyBridge Capital and served as CEO of the company’s meetings. In 2014, he also co-hosted Walk Road Week, a money-related television show.
Due to SkyBridge’s collaboration with Chinese citizens and its deep ties to the Chinese Socialist Alliance, Anthony Scaramucci decided to leave the organization in 2017. Anthony Scaramucci has supported same-sex marriage and continues to advocate for gun control legislation.
Anthony Scaramucci is also a well-known figure in government affairs, having played an active role in official duties. He initially supported Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton but later changed his mind and supported Donald Trump’s cause.
He considered Trump a “crooked legislator” and questioned him while working for him. As a result, he lost his job as White House Correspondent Supervisor.
Anthony Scaramucci is also a writer who has written three books.
Personal life
Lisa Miranda was Anthony Scaramucci’s first wife. After 23 years of marriage, they divorced in 2011 and the divorce was finalized in 2014.
He then married for a second time to Deidre Ball in 2014.
Anthony Scaramucci met Deidre Ball when she worked in investor relations at SkyBridge Capital, and she worked there until he left the firm.
The couple began dating in 2011 and married on July 11, 2014. After having their first child in early 2014, Anthony Scaramucci and Deidre Ball temporarily separated in early 2017.
Deidre Ball filed for divorce from Anthony Scaramucci in early July 2017 while pregnant with their second child, who was born on July 24, 2017. However, she later dropped the lawsuit on November 29, 2017.
