Arbaaz Salim Abdul Rashid Khan (born 4 August 1967), known as Arbaaz Khan, is a talented Indian actor, filmmaker and producer.

He mainly produces and directs Hindi films. He has also acted in several TV shows and films in Urdu, Telugu and Malayalam.

Arbaaz Khan has been the brand ambassador for Indian retail store Pantaloons since 2005, and has held the position since March 2017, when Walmart acquired Bharti Retail India Ltd., which previously owned Pantaloons.

Early life and education

Arbaaz Khan was born on August 4, 1967. Khan is the second child in a family with deep roots in the Bollywood film industry. His stepmother is dancer and Bollywood actress Helen Khan, and his father is successful screenwriter Salim Khan. His mother is Sushila Charak.

His grandparents are Baldev Singh Charak and Abdul Rashid Khan. Arbaaz Khan has four siblings: Sohail Khan, Salman Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan.

Arbaaz Khan attended Scindia School in Gwalior along with his actor brother Salman Khan (who plays Salman Khan in the Bollywood film industry) and actor-producer Sohail Khan. In 1998, Arbaaz Khan married actress and model Malaika Arora. Their son Arhaan Khan was born in 2002. On March 28, 2016, the couple announced their separation and obtained a divorce decree on May 11, 2017.

The family of a 70-year-old woman who was killed by Arbaaz Khan’s Land Cruiser on July 1, 2012, demanded compensation from the actor. However, Arbaaz Khan’s family refused to pay compensation as they had abandoned the woman.
