Early life and education
Arbaaz Khan was born on August 4, 1967. Khan is the second child in a family with deep roots in the Bollywood film industry. His stepmother is dancer and Bollywood actress Helen Khan, and his father is successful screenwriter Salim Khan. His mother is Sushila Charak.
His grandparents are Baldev Singh Charak and Abdul Rashid Khan. Arbaaz Khan has four siblings: Sohail Khan, Salman Khan, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan.
Arbaaz Khan attended Scindia School in Gwalior along with his actor brother Salman Khan (who plays Salman Khan in the Bollywood film industry) and actor-producer Sohail Khan. His sister Alvira Khan is now known as Alvira Khan Agnihotri. Arpita Khan is his stepsister. Actors Atul Agnihotri and Aayush Sharma are his in-laws.

In 1998, Arbaaz Khan married actress and model Malaika Arora. Their son Arhaan Khan was born in 2002. On March 28, 2016, the couple announced their separation and obtained a divorce decree on May 11, 2017.
The family of a 70-year-old woman who was killed by Arbaaz Khan’s Land Cruiser on July 1, 2012, demanded compensation from the actor. However, Arbaaz Khan’s family refused to pay compensation as they had abandoned the woman.

Arbaaz Khan made his film debut in the 1996 film Dalal, playing a villainous character as a crazed wife beater. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Villain Role for the film.
He has starred in several blockbuster films, including Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998), for which he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, and Garv: Pride and Honour (2004), in which he co-starred with his brother Salman Khan.
Khan played a villain in the 2003 box-office hit Qayamat: City Under Threat. He also played supporting roles in the comedy Hulchul (2004), Malamaal Weekly (2006) and Priyadarshan’s Bhagam Bhag (2006).
In 2007’s Shootout at Lokhandwala and Fool and Final, Arbaaz Khan played supporting roles as a police officer (Constable Javed Sheikh) and a gangster (Moscow Chikna), respectively.

Arbaaz Khan co-starred with Sohail Khan in Kisaan in 2009 and played the villain in Jai Veeru.
