There are some fans who are convinced that Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton are preparing to release a collaboration together.
A Swift fan account on X noticed that Parton started following Swift on Instagram, sharing a screenshot of Parton’s following tab with Swift below it.
In the comments section of the post, fans shared their excitement about the potential collaboration.
“Dolly x Taylor in Taylor’s debut!” one user exclaimed.
“A Taydolly collaboration at launch,” another added.
“Imagine DOLLY when DEBUT,” another user shared.

Taylor’s debut album Version of Swift was released after Swift concluded her landmark Eras Tour. During the tour, she released two other versions of Taylor with Say It Now (Taylor’s Version) And 1989 (Taylor’s version).
Swift debuted in 2006 with the album of the same name. The project gave her her first 40 chart singles. Billboard Hot100 chart. The song was also a top 15 hit “Teardrops on My Guitar” and a top 20 hit “Our Song”.
Parton previously praised Swift in September in an interview with Diversitynoting that “it’s amazing what she’s done in her career.”
“I admire her so much and the way she handles her business, her personal life and everything she means to so many young people. [She’s] is a great source of inspiration. And God knows we need some uplifting people and things day in and day out,” Parton added.
Swift also shared her love for Parton and in a 2023 interview with Hollywood Reporter, Swift calls her “a storyteller for the ages”.
