Ark Survival Improved Gameplay
“Ark: Survival Evolved” is an upgraded version of the popular game “Ark: Survival Evolved” and made a splash with the use of Unreal Engine 5. During the Xbox Partner Preview Showcase, we got a glimpse of its impressive gameplay features, including enhanced environments, creatures, and gameplay. Developer Studio Wildcard discussed how it is leveraging the technology of Unreal Engine 5, promising more modding capabilities and modding access for console players.
Key improvements include a third-person camera, a detailed map system, better creature navigation, enhanced character customization, and more. However, some fans are concerned about the game’s business model, as Ark: Survival Ascend essentially replaces the original game without providing credit to the previous owner.
PC system requirements are outlined, requiring at least 16 GB RAM and SSD. The game will be released as an early access version for PC in November, and the full sequel “Ark 2” is planned to be released in 2024.
