The game was originally expected to release simultaneously on all next-gen platforms, but has since taken a different route, debuting in Early Access on October 25, 2023 on Windows. It was subsequently released on Xbox Series S/X on November 21, 2023. and the PlayStation 5 will be available on November 30, 2023.

Megaraptor Patch Notes
- Wild megaraptor pups now feel comfortable approaching survivors only if their parents are able to return to their nests
- Fixed an issue where new hunt targets would display with fully bound Megaraptor passengers.
- Fixed an issue that caused the eggs on the Megaraptor saddle to visually disappear when restarting a single-player game.
- Adjusted the description of Megaraptor feathers.
- Removed ants as potential hunting targets during Megaraptor bonding training as they have a shorter rendering distance and could cause hunting to activate without a visible indicator.
- Fixed an issue where wild Gigantoraptor hatchlings were trapped in their lairs.
- Updated claiming text for wild Giganaptor pups to more accurately indicate that survivors cannot claim them when their parents are killed.
- Updated bound dinosaur and egg HUD elements to fix overlapping hotbars when using higher than default values.
- Added the ability to use AltFire to pick up a baby in front of you (left Ctrl click, hold and release RB on the gamepad after 0.33 seconds).
- Updated combine training to clear/lose training targets when too far away.
- Fixed an issue where Megaraptor lairs were not being cleared.
- Added check for ini option OverrideBondedPassImprintMultiplier in the ServerSettings section to override the imprint percentage passed to the bonded baby.
- Fixed Megaraptor not spawning with other mods that have overwritten Therizino.

Patch Notes
- Allies’ names are now displayed when wearing a ghillie suit.
- Fixed an issue where targets would not be pinged correctly when carried by an Allied Flyer.
- Fixed an issue that caused FPS to drop when opening a door with lights on.
- Appearance tab now allows item filtering.
- The light source on the fixed raft does not emit light.
Ark survival, improvement and development
