Assassin’s Creed Phantom Ship Heist Contract Guide
In Assassin’s Creed Phantoms, the ship-robbing contract is one of the early secret missions Basin can perform. This guide will help you successfully complete your mission to steal a boat from the fiefdom’s heavily guarded locks while remaining undetected.
Start a ship grabbing contract in AC Mirage:
-
The contract can be obtained after Basim arrives in Baghdad and speaks to Roshan at the Hidden Ones headquarters.
-
To initiate a ship heist contract, navigate to the Investigate menu after accepting the mission.
-
The mission location is located in Harbiyah, near the Nestorian Monastery viewpoint, which can be reached quickly using the fast travel point or walking from the monastery.
Infiltrate the fiefdom’s sluices in AC Mirage:
-
The ditch is located southwest of the Nestorian Temple. Follow these steps to sneak into the fortress, open the floodgates, and escape without alerting the guards:
-
Make sure Basim has an adequate supply of knives and blow darts.
-
Use Basin’s Eagle to locate the ship and mark all guards in the compound.
-
Move to the northwest corner of the fortress.
-
Consider using Eagle Vision to track guard movements.
-
Climb the wall and take out the guards inside.
-
Exit to the right and carefully take out the guard guarding the ship using a throwing knife or jump assassin.
-
Use another throwing knife to quietly take out the guard sitting near the grass.
-
Return to where Basim killed the first guard, loot the chest, and exit north.
-
Assassinate him while the guards are watching outside the fortress.
-
Sneak along the wall and use your knife to kill the patrolling guards on the left and right.
-
Use the same technique to take out the sitting guards, or use Basin’s chain assassination ability to take out two guards at once.
-
Kill the guard behind the steps.
-
Interact with the lever to open the floodgates and quickly dive into the water.
-
If all nearby guards are taken care of, Basim can go unnoticed.
-
Escape through the open gate by boat and travel to your final destination in Habia’s Upper Harbor.

Assassin’s Creed Phantoms
Assassin’s Creed Phantoms is a video game developed by Ubisoft. It is the thirteenth main game in the Assassin’s Creed series, following Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. The game is set in 9th century Baghdad and tells the story of a character named Basim Ibn Ishaq, who fights for peace and freedom with a group called the Order of the Ancients And fight.
Basim also struggles with his past. Originally, the game was supposed to be an expansion pack for Valhalla, but it became its own standalone game. The creators wanted to focus on the core elements of the series, such as stealth, parkour, and assassination, rather than complex role-playing features.
Mirage will be released on various gaming platforms in October 2023 and will also be available on iPhone in 2024. Critics liked the game’s world design and its emphasis on stealth, but some disliked the characters and felt it relied too heavily on previous games in the series.

Assassin’s Creed Phantoms gameplay
Assassin’s Creed Phantoms is an action-adventure stealth game designed to be more like the older Assassin’s Creed games. It focuses on a linear story and reduces the complex role-playing elements found in recent games. The game centers around parkour, melee combat, and stealth. In terms of assassination missions, it uses a design called “black box” where players need to explore the environment to find different ways to reach and eliminate the target.
The game mainly takes place in the city of Baghdad, which is divided into four districts and also includes small towns on the outskirts. There is a special fortress called Alamut, which plays a role in the story. However, players cannot explore freely. Baghdad is smaller in this game than in recent Assassin’s Creed worlds.
Protagonist Basin possesses an array of weapons and tools, including the iconic hidden blade, smoke grenades, throwing knives and poison darts. You can improve these weapons and tools through skill trees, giving them different abilities. Basim also possesses a special ability called Assassin Focus, which allows him to take out multiple enemies at once and recharge as he performs stealth assassinations.
Additionally, there are some telephone poles around Baghdad that you can use to span wide gaps. The game’s movements and animations have been improved, making characters more agile and fluid, drawing inspiration from various martial arts and even Jedi movements.
