Atlas Fallen An Apple a Day Walkthrough and Quest Guide

atlas the fallen

Atlas Fallen is an action role-playing video game developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Entertainment. The game was released on August 10, 2023 for Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Series S. The game is developed by Deck13 Interactive using its in-house engine called “Fledge”. Unlike the studio’s previous games Lords of the Fallen and The Surge, Atlas Fallen is not a “Souls-like” game. Instead, it focuses on fast-paced and fluid combat, taking inspiration from games like God of War (2018) and the Horizon series. However, elements from The Surge games, such as the body targeting system, are also incorporated into Atlas Fallen.

The game offers three difficulty modes, of which the hard mode is specially designed for experienced players of Souls games. Deck13 and Focus Entertainment announced Atlas Fallen at Gamescom in August 2022. The game was originally scheduled to release in May, but was later postponed to August 10, 2023 to give the development team more time to polish the game and launch it. Players who pre-order the game will receive a “Ruin Rising Pack” that includes a variety of cosmetics and Essence Stones to enhance their gaming experience.

There are two ways to go:

  • Notify vendors of the thief’s departure from the city. This results in the need to track down the thief later in order to complete a side mission.
  • Or, notify vendors that the thief is still in town. This allows you to find rare apples and return them to vendors for additional rewards.

Objective: Find the stolen apple

Stolen apples can be found at the following locations:

  • From the vendor, follow the path to the upper town. A rare apple is found on the left side of the main path.
  • In front of the first apple (but before meeting the beggar), you’ll find the second rare apple. It is located beyond the railing on the grass on the right side of the road.
  • Continue along the path to the upper town. When you come across a set of stairs to the right, there’s another rare apple on the ground nearby.
  • Climb these stairs and follow the path to the end, where you’ll find the fourth rare apple.
  • Go down the stairs and keep going. As you approach the brazier area, you’ll notice a fifth rare apple on the ground.
  • Climb the sturdy stairs to the south. On a table at the top of it sits the sixth rare apple. 7-9. Go through the narrow alley near the stairs (which leads to the aforementioned Sketch Man). Along this path, you’ll stumble upon three more rare apples, bringing the total to nine.
  • Finding the tenth and final rare apple requires some ingenuity. This apple will appear where you met the sketchy thief. However, to trigger its appearance, you must switch to another map (Monsaral: Bastengar Underground or Caladris). When you return, the thief will be gone and replaced by the tenth rare apple.

Once all ten rare apples are collected, the new goal becomes obvious.

Goal: Recover Stolen Apple Collection

  • Return to the vendor and deliver all ten rare apples to successfully complete the mission.
