Atlas Fallen PC Performance Analysis
Atlas Fallen’s performance analysis highlights the possibility of achieving a smooth 120fps gaming experience without the need for a high-end CPU. However, the game relies heavily on a single CPU core/thread, which can be problematic on older CPUs.
Testing on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D showed a stable 180fps in CPU-intensive camp areas, even with NPCs present. It’s worth noting that the simulated dual-core system maintained a solid 120 fps via SMT/Hyper-Threading, suggesting that a powerful CPU isn’t critical for enjoyable gaming.
Additionally, Intel CPU users should disable the E-core to optimize performance, as Atlas Fallen uses the E-core by default, resulting in performance degradation. Most GPUs push frame rates above 60fps when gaming at 1080p/Max settings, and the Smash feature creates frame rate challenges. AMD Radeon RX Vega 64 delivers smooth performance. Interestingly, the frame rate is capped at 200fps regardless of VSync or frame rate limit settings.

Atlas fallen gameplay
Atlas Fallen is a third-person action role-playing video game that allows players to create their own unique player avatar from the start of the game. At the heart of the experience is an ancient gauntlet that manipulates sand, which can be shaped into combat weapons.
Compared to the developer’s previous titles, players can use up to three weapons and hold two at any time while engaging in a more traditional action gameplay style. Combat involves dodging, counterattacking, blocking, and seamless transitions between land and air conflicts.
Each attack generates momentum, and special skills are unlocked after reaching certain thresholds. The game features a variety of open areas to explore, interweaving various side missions and activities with basic movement mechanics facilitated by challenges.
This includes gliding across desert landscapes, air dashing, and digging for hidden areas. As the player progresses, discoveries such as “Fragments” and “Catalyst Fragments” enhance the gloves’ combat potential. Additionally, the game offers a cooperative multiplayer mode for two players to play together.

Unlike past games like Lords of the Fallen and The Surge, the game’s combat system emphasizes agility and fluidity. Such as the body targeting system.
The game offers three difficulty modes, including challenging environments for experienced Soulslike players.
