Early life
BBNaija Bryann was born in 1998 to Mr. and Mrs. Chijioke. He was born at a private hospital in Lagos. A few days after his birth, his parents held a naming ceremony to honor his birth. At the ceremony, the boy was named Brian Chukwuebuka Chijioke. His native name, Chukwuebuka, means “God is great.”
Bryann is the first child of the Chijioke family and has only one sibling, a younger sister. He is of Igbo ethnicity and hails from Imo State. However, he spent his formative years living in Lagos State and grew up in a spacious apartment in Festac, on the mainland axis of the city. He spent part of his teenage years living in Ogun State for the purpose of his studies.
BBNaija Bryann started writing music in high school but did so in secret. When he started his artistic journey, his close friends and family did not know that he could sing. He often wrote music in his spare time, in the comfort of his bedroom.
Education
BBNaija Bryann completed her primary schooling at a renowned private school in Lagos.
He attended high school at Emerald High School.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Babcock University.
Career
By the time BBNaija Bryann was admitted to university, he had already improved his singing and songwriting skills. He decided to pursue a professional music career and began performing at events in Lagos and Ogun State. He also went to radio stations to promote some of the songs he released during this time.
Bryann released her official debut single, Longé, on February 26, 2021. The song’s music video was released the same day. The Alien directed the song.
BBNaija Bryann became an internet sensation by covering popular songs. He recorded a cover of Blaqbonez’s Bling and released it in May 2021.
His second single, Andale, was released on September 7, 2021. Like his first single, Andale was well received by fans and established him as a notable artist in the Afropop music scene. Andale’s music video was filmed and directed by Ibhukun, and was released on September 10, 2021.
He was a guest artist on DJ Kaywise’s Joor Party Online Series, in September 2021. He appeared as a guest on Glitch Africa in October 2021, where he performed his songs live. He was a guest artist in Mexico at Trópico Acapulco in December 2021. He performed in front of thousands of fans at the concert.
BBNaija Bryann released his debut project, Ileke, in December 2021. The project is a 7-track EP featuring songs – Shokoto, Kerewa, Sarewagba, Andale, Jetan (Pant Off), Jegede and Longé.
He released the single Chemical Reaction in February 2022. He released the single Magician in 2022. He composed the Acapella song, 5 Other Guys, which he posted in March 2022. Soon after, he released another acapella mix called Jangilovah. He released a cover of Fireboy DML’s song Playboy in April 2022.
He performed his Shokoto single medley on The Guitar Show Series in May 2022. He released the single Juju Pt. 2, produced by Colors X Studios.

On 23 July 2022, BBNaija Bryann was revealed as one of the housemates on the reality TV show Big Brother Naija. Bryann is competing for the grand prize of 100 million naira to become the biggest reality TV star in Nigeria and the whole of Africa.
