Early life
BBNaija Dotun Oloniyo was born to Mr. and Mrs. Oloniyo on June 22, 1996. He is of Yoruba tribe and is an indigene of Ekiti state.
He was born and raised in Lagos. He spent part of his childhood in the old city of Ibadan for his education. Dotun Oloniyo and his family often visited his ancestral home in Ekiti during his childhood. He has a younger brother named Joel Oloniyo.

He was posted to Calabar City and worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital for one year.
After completing his NYSC, BBNaija Dotun Oloniyo moved back to Lagos and found a job at a leading medical centre in Lagos. He worked at the company for a while before moving to the creative space.
Armed with certifications in social media management and social media marketing, he started working as a freelance social media manager and social media marketing specialist in 2020.
