Ismail Rukuba Ahalu Khalid (born August 11, 1999) is a professional graphic designer, NFT artist, model, trainer and entrepreneur known by his stage name BBNaija Khalid Ahalu.
He is the CEO of Khalid Autos, an automobile dealership he founded in 2012. A sports enthusiast, he is also an avid basketball player.
BBNaija Khalid Ahalu became a national sensation after he was selected as one of the housemates of Big Brother Naija Season 7 (Level Up Edition). He is vying to become the biggest reality TV star in the country.

Early life
BBNaija Khalid Ismail Ahalu was born on August 11, 1999 at Lancaster Hospital, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria. He was born in Lagos State.
He is the son of Alhaji Samaila Achigak Ahalu (nicknamed Alhaji Rukuba). He is from Northern Nigeria and is a native of Plateau State. He hails from Kissaloi, in the Buhit District of Rukuba.
BBNaija Khalid Ahalu is Muslim. He is the third child of the Ahalu family. He has seven siblings – two brothers and five sisters. He spent his formative years living in Lagos, Ibadan and Abuja.
During his childhood and teenage years, he and his family visited Plateau State during vacations. BBNaija Khalid was a gifted child who started drawing at a young age. He created comics during his secondary school days.
Education
BBNaija Khalid Ahalu attended primary school at El-Amin International School, Ibadan.
He is an alumnus of the Air Force Military College Ibadan, graduating in 2015.
BBNaija Khalid Ahalu obtained his Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Design from Ahmadu Bello University.
Career
After graduating from military school (his secondary school), BBNaija Khalid Ahalu was offered by his commander, Air Brigadier Adah, to become an Air Force Cadet. However, he rejected the offer and decided to study at Ahmadu Bello University.
Before graduating from university, BBNaija Khalid Ahalu decided to try his hand at business. So he founded a car dealership company called Khalid Autos. Since its inception, the company has been selling cars to customers all over Nigeria.
He has also made a name for himself in the modeling industry. Blessed with good looks and a great physique, he is one of the top models from Northern Nigeria. He has worked with several brands on corporate and commercial modeling contracts.
BBNaija Khalid Ahalu is also known in the Nigerian creative community for his work as a graphic designer and NFT artist. He has worked with both local and international clients on various design projects. He is one of the few NFT artists in the country and an expert in non-fungible tokens.
In 2022, BBNaija Khalid Ahalu decided to become a reality TV star and auditioned for Season 7 of Big Brother Naija. He successfully passed the show’s rigorous audition stages to become one of the 24 contestants for the Big Brother Naija Level Up edition.
