Early life
BBNaija Modella was born to Mr. and Mrs. Abimbola on August 8, 1996. Her mother is Mrs. Osasona Abimbola.
She was born and raised in South West Ekiti state, Nigeria. She is a Yoruba woman from Osun State, Nigeria. She speaks Yoruba and English fluently. She was raised in the Christian faith by her parents. The older Abimbolas also instilled in Modella a fear of God and a love of hard work.
BBNaija Modella comes from a close family of 5 people. She is the first child of the Abimbola family and has three siblings – Felix Abimbola, Comfort Abimbola and Tom Abimbola.

Career
In her teens, BBNaija Modella developed a soft spot for the fashion and beauty industry. This interest influenced several career decisions she made as a student. She did an apprenticeship to learn Makeup skills. After weeks of training, she became very good and started a small business as a makeup artist on a college campus.
In just a few months, she quickly grew her Makeup business through referrals from satisfied customers. She started getting weekly gigs and became one of the highly sought after makeup artists in the Akungba community.
While working as a makeup artist, Modella decided to become a model. She connected with other creatives in the fashion industry and they helped her get a modeling contract. After graduating from university, she worked as a model for many small brands in the Southwest. In 2018, she participated in the Most Beautiful Girl in Lagos Contest. Although she did not win the contest, it opened the door for her to participate in more beauty pageants.
BBNaija Modella decided to start a beauty business in 2019 and this led to the creation of Apet Cosmetics. The company is an online beauty, cosmetics and jewelry store that sells to customers worldwide. She is currently holding the position of CEO of the company. She took her business a step further when she launched a skin care product called Skindella in August 2020.
Modella also works as a stylist and fashion consultant. She runs Style Me Modella, an independent hair styling company based in Nigeria. A versatile content creator, she runs a lifestyle vlog on YouTube called Apet Modella TV.
She is also a budding Nollywood actress and has starred in several movies. In 2021, she starred in the film Crazy Grannies produced by Kayode Peters.
BBNaija Modella’s popularity in the entertainment world skyrocketed after she became one of the housemates of the seventh edition of the Big Brother Naija Show. She was released on July 31, 2022 and will compete for the grand prize of 100 million naira.
