Bella Shmurda was born into a Yoruba family of Mr. and Mrs. Ahmed. He was born in the city of Lagos on January 27, 1997. He is a native of Lagos State.
Eight days after his birth, his parents named him Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed. He grew up in Okokomaiko town in Lagos mainland. He was born into a Muslim family and followed the same religion.

In November 2021, he performed for the first time at The 02 Arena during Wizkid’s show.
Bella Shmurda released the single “My Friends” in 2022. The video for the single was shot and directed by Visuals by Jubreel and was released on February 23, 2022.
