Early life and education
Benita Okojie was born in the same country to Nigerian parents on March 9, 1988. She is now 36 years old.
The gospel musician is a native of Edo State, Nigeria and a member of the Isan tribe of Nigeria. Unfortunately, on February 16 of that year, her father passed away.
Benita Okojie completed her English studies and obtained a degree at Redeemer University before joining the National Youth Service Corps.

Benita Okojie began her career singing with her siblings, blending Yoruba and Edo music. She rose to fame at the age of 10 in 1998 when she released the single “Osemudiamen”.
Her father, who has worked with performers like Onyeka Onwenu, Felix Liberty, Chris Okotie and Sonny Okosun, independently manages her music career. He is responsible for the composition, promotion and distribution of her music.
