Early life
Benjamin Olaye Jnr was born into the prestigious family of Benjamin Olaye Snr, who produced and hosted the show ‘Beat Wave’ in the old Bendel state (Edo and Delta states).
Benjamin Olaye Jnr is currently in his 20s.
His father was widely known as BENJOF. Some called him the Magic Foot Sense.
Career
From an early age, Benjamin Jnr developed a love of entertaining just as his father was doing.

He began writing stories during his middle school days and was inspired by actors such as Ramsey Nouah, Pete Edochie and Sam Loco Efe.
He played a supporting role in the movie Esohe released in 2017.
In 2020, he won the monologue competition Lancelot Imaseun 1897 Invasion. The contest was held to celebrate Lancelot’s 25th anniversary in the film industry.
Out of 700 entries, Benjamin emerged as the winner of the contest.
He was cast in Lancelot Imaseun’s latest project, ‘For the Love of Isiuwa’ which was filmed in Benin, Edo State.
He also featured in the 2020 film, Son of Mercy, acting alongside top actors like Gregory Ojefua, Alex Ekubo, Kelvin Ikeduba.
He currently plays Archie in the Africa Magic series, Enakhe.

He also acted in the television series Iroko, The Blood of Enogie.
He starred in the short film Yasmeen, which was released on 2 December 2020. The film was produced by Fatima Binta Gimsay.
He is currently teaching acting at Benin Film Academy (BFA).

Benjamin is from Benin City, Edo State. He has never been married and has no children. But it has been confirmed that he is in a serious relationship.
His father passed away on August 4, 2018.
