“Ghostrunner 2” game information
“Ghostrunner 2” is a video game produced by One More Level and published by 505 Games. This game is the sequel to Ghostrunner and is all action and adventure. You can play it on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, and it releases on October 26, 2023. In this game, you control a character named Jack, and you see the world from a first-person perspective.
Jack is so agile that he can do all kinds of cool moves, like running on walls, dashing, and even swinging around with his grappling hook. There is a special ability called “sensory enhancement” that allows Jack to slow down time a bit, which is handy for avoiding bad things.
You’ll also have to keep an eye on Jack’s stamina, as this determines how often he dashes and deflects attacks. Jack’s main weapon is a sword, but he also has other cool abilities, like throwing electric stars called “shurikens” to stun enemies and hit switches from a distance.
The game takes you on an adventure where Jack must transcend Damota and face a group of cyber-ninja AI cult members. The game also has a motorcycle combat section, where you can’t upgrade the motorcycle, but you can upgrade Jack’s abilities.

“Ghostrunner 2” gameplay
Playing Ghostrunner 2 is like being in an action movie. You see everything from Jack’s perspective, and he’s really good at running, jumping, and doing some cool tricks like running on walls. You can even use a grappling hook to swing around.
It’s not all about mobility, though. You have to be careful about Jack’s physical strength. If he runs out, he can’t dash or deflect attacks, which is bad news. Jack’s primary weapon is a sword, but he also has other skills, such as throwing electric stars called “shurikens” to deal with enemies from a distance.
The game also features puzzle solving and combat. You have to be smart to figure out how to get through difficult situations. Sometimes you need to quickly plan the best way to take down an enemy. The story follows Jack on a mission to defeat a group of cyber-ninja artificial intelligence cult members. It’s not just the battle, however; There are motorcycle parts so you can ride your bike and fight off the bad guys. You can’t upgrade the bike, but you can make Jack better at what he does.
Development of “Ghostrunner 2”
Making Ghostrunner 2 is the work of Polish game development company One More Level. They wanted this game to be better than the first “Ghostrunner,” so they added some cool stuff. Radoslaw Ratusznik is the game’s director, and he stated that they wanted to “evolve” the game from the first game.
They want it to be both challenging and fun for new players. So they added a special way to block attacks for those who can’t move fast enough in the game. Game designer Lukasz Wabik was inspired by Samurai Jack when making this game.
The game has a motorcycle component because the developers thought it suited the fast combat and cyberpunk style. Publisher 505 Games purchased the rights to the game from All In Games for €5 million. They announced the sequel in May 2021 and it will be officially released in May 2023.
The game was released on October 26, 2023. If you pre-order the game or get the Deluxe Edition, you’ll get special in-game items like cool skins for weapons and characters. There’s even a PlayStation 5 game demo coming in September 2023. People loved the game and it got rave reviews from critics who thought it was fun to play.
