Early life
Jenni O was born in 1997 to Mr. and Mrs. Okoro. She was born in a public health center in Chicago, Illinois. She is American by birth and spent her formative years in the United States. However, she has Nigerian roots. Her parents are Nigerians from Imo State.
Jenni O holds dual citizenship, Nigerian and American. She is an Igbo woman, originally from Southeastern Nigeria. Her official birth name is Jennifer Okoro. She grew up in a middle-class neighborhood in Chicago.
Jenni O and her siblings were provided for by her grandparents, the Older Okoros. She came from a close-knit family and was doted on by her parents. Since she was a young girl, Jenni O has aspired to work in the medical field. She dreamed of becoming a Public Health professional and worked hard in high school to achieve this dream.

Jenni O attended top state-run elementary, middle, and high schools. After graduating from high school with an excellent CGPA, she attended college at one of the top universities in the United States.
She is an alumna of Illinois State University (ISU), where she earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Health and Preventive Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2020.
Jenni O then attended the University of Georgia (UGA) to earn her Master of Public Health (MPH). She completed her master’s degree in 2022.
Career
In 2015, prior to her admission to college, Jenni O interned at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago for 3 months. During her undergraduate days at Illinois State University, she was the president of the African American Student Association. She was the student body president from 2018 to 2019. She also served as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University and Illinois State University.
In 2020, Jenni O worked as an intern at BPI for four months. Prior to that, she worked as a Preventive Medicine Intern at Rush University Medical Center.
From January 2020 to February 2021, she worked as a Project Assistant at MDNewsline. She is a part-time employee at the organization. She also did a 5-month internship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in 2021.
In June 2021, Jenni O joined Kite Pharma as an Intern. She held the internship position for 4 months before being offered a full-time position as an Environmental Health Specialist in September 2021. She worked at the company until October 2022, when she moved back to her home country of Nigeria.
Jenni O moved back to Nigeria to pursue her love for the entertainment industry. Although she is passionate about medicine, she has a special affection for the entertainment industry and wants to become a Reality TV Star. She auditioned for Big Brother Titans and was selected as a housemate on the reality TV show. Jenni O was announced as a housemate on Big Brother Titans on January 15, 2023.
