Billie Eilish continues to speak out in support of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Harris is currently running against former President Donald Trump to become the next leader of the United States. During her career, she received many endorsements from celebrities, including Eilish.

In an interview with fashion magazineThe “Birds of a Feather” singer shared the reasons behind her decision to support Harris and her bid for the White House.
“I mean, this is probably the most important election of our time, and it’s easy to feel like, I don’t want to think about it… I feel the same way: I’m a person, I can’t make any changes. But the truth is we can all make a change. And I have this platform and I’m going to use it,” Eilish told the outlet.

She then went on to clarify some of the reasons why she decided to support Harris instead of using her power to endorse Trump.
“Really a big fan of human rights. Really a big fan of women’s rights and women’s reproductive rights and social justice and gun laws… A lot of my fans will be able to vote for the first time. So I thought, Do you like freedom?” Eilish added.
This is not the first time Eilish has publicly supported Harris. She previously posted a video on Instagram for National Voter Registration Day with her brother Finneas to announce her support for the current Vice President.
“We vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy. Vote like your life depends on it because because it is so.” Eilish said in the clip.

Eilish isn’t the only celebrity to come out in support of Harris. After the debate on September 10, Taylor Swift shared that she will vote for Harris in the upcoming election.
“I will vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I vote for @kamalaharris because she fights for rights and causes that I believe need a warrior to defend. I think she is a steady-handed, talented leader and I believe we could achieve much more in this country if we were led with calm and non-chaos. I’m so excited and impressed by her choice of running mate @timwalz, who has stood up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s rights over their own bodies for decades. “, Swift said in her post.
Other notable celebrities who have also endorsed Harris include Bruce Springsteen and Jessica Alba.
