She is the co-founder behind the Bring Back Our Girls movement, which pointed to passionate dissent demanding the rescue of 276 schoolgirls kidnapped by terrorist group Boko Haram in 2014.

Aisha Yesufu married Aliu in 1996 at the age of 24 when she was still a University student and was blessed with two children, Aliyah Yesufu and Amir Yesufu. She is famous for raising the flag against injustice in various countries.
