Blood Money Mission Guide
In Diablo 4, a special mission called “Blood Money” is part of Season of Blood. It involves dealing with vampires and other dangerous creatures. To succeed, players must harness the power of these vampires to fight against them.
Start the task:
-
To initiate this mission, players must have completed the game’s main story on any difficulty level. If players choose to skip the main story during character creation, they will still have access to this quest.
-
It’s worth noting that only seasonal characters are eligible for this quest. Characters in the Eternal Realm will not be able to participate.
-
This quest will lead players to Cade Bardu, an important town in the Dry Steppes region of Act III. Players should speak to the Inquisitor there to initiate the Season of Blood quest chain.
Searching for the missing businessman:
-
The player’s initial goal is to find a missing merchant in the Vasili River section, located north of Cadbardu. They should use their mounts to reach the location and explore the upper part of the area.
-
There, they’ll find a hole in the ground that leads to a hidden dungeon. Clear this dungeon, destroy the creatures within, and return to the Inquisitor in town to complete the Blood Money quest and advance the seasonal quest chain.
Hunter’s Chase:
-
Back at the Sheriff’s Office, the player faces an ambush from a group of vampires. Overcoming this challenge will earn them powerful blood and vampire powers unique to this season.
-
These powers can be accessed and used through the player’s inventory by selecting the “Vampire Powers” tab. Opening the cache provided by the Sheriff will yield more Power Blood, a currency used to unlock additional vampire powers. Before leaving, it is recommended to interact with the Blood Altar to obtain more potent blood.
-
Vampire powers are closely tied to the Covenant, a unique symbol that appears on the player’s armor. Each piece of armor can hold up to five covenants. Using Covenant consumables earned through Season of Blood content, players can modify, add, or re-roll these symbols to enhance their characters.
Call of the Undead:
-
After completing the first chapter of the Battle Pass challenges, you can complete the subsequent mission in the seasonal chain, “Call of the Undead.”
-
Players need to meet the Inquisitor in the Holy Sepulchre, located in the Amber Sands of Kejhistan, north of the ruined fortress altar. Inside the dungeon, they should clear out the vampire presence and move on.
-
At the end of the dungeon, the Inquisitor will return to town and instruct the players to continue investigating. A secret vampire lair can be revealed behind the wall. After defeating the vampire lord’s minions and interacting with the Blood Altar in the center of the arena, players will receive a large amount of powerful blood and advance the quest chain.
-
Finally, they should return to Cade Bardu to meet with Eris.
Witnesses in the Dust:
-
The final part of the quest chain, “Witnesses in the Dust,” requires players to clear a dungeon in the company of hunter Eris.
-
To continue the quest, players must travel to Hawizar’s Fetid Tomb, located west of the Whispering Tree. Inside the dungeon, they should look for a coffin at the end that contains the blasphemous vampire skull that Iris is looking for.
-
Once players obtain the skull, they can leave the dungeon, but it is recommended to complete the dungeon for character upgrades.
-
To advance further in the season journey, players will need to complete Chapter 2 of the Battle Pass challenges and continue to level up their character.
This is how players complete Blood Money Missions in Diablo 4 while battling vampires and using their powers to their advantage.
