In the fictional city of New Amsterdam, prominent gang member Fox wakes up in a police cell and escapes with the help of Tris, who is trying to create a new gang. During the breakout process, Fox learned basic skills from Tris, who revealed that Fox was part of the city’s dominant trio.
During their escape, a robed figure incapacitated Fox. Later, Fox wakes up with a red cybernetic head and no memory of his past, and is introduced to Bell as a member of Tris’ new gang. Tryce explains that Faux was decapitated by DJ Cyber, who still possesses Faux’s head. As they set out to recover Fox’s head, Tris emphasizes Fox’s past prominence.
