Rapper Boosie Badazz gave his daughter a lavish gift for her 16th birthday, but his gift inevitably drew criticism.
In a video posted to his Instagram account, Boosie can be seen gifting his daughter a brand new Porsche for her 16th birthday. In the video, the car rolls away with a large red ribbon on it and people flock around to take pictures and videos of the car.
However, not everyone is impressed with the expensive gift.
“You can’t buy love, you have to earn it,” one person said on Instagram.
“Let me see whose car that is registered to! She’s so messy,” another added.
“Boosie bought himself another car for his daughter’s birthday because he just went to get it back from her,” another comment read.
Now, Boosie has responded to the criticism in a post on his X account.
“BE HAPPY FOR A 16 YEAR OLD SMH KID THAT WAS A STUDENT WITH A PAID 2025 PORSCHE BECAUSE I ONLY TAKEN ONE CAR BACK OF THE 5 BOOOSOME KIDS PHONES TAKEN WHEN THEY MESSED UP SOME CARS CHILDREN GETTING TOUGH UP, IT’S CALLED #parenting,” he said.
“SO WORRY ABOUT THEM ANDRIODS N IPPHONE N I WORRY ABOUT THESE PORSCHE CARS, BENZES TRUCKS N AUDI LOL N ONE MO THANG WHAT DID YOUR BABY GET YOU FOR THE 16TH? YOU ARE Keep it Gangsta #southbatonrougeG,” Boosie concluded.

This isn’t the only luxury gift the rapper has given recently. For Christmas, his openly gay manager shared that Booise gave him a bracelet filled with rainbow diamonds.
“Boosie asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I said something representative of the LGBTQ community… This is what I got. #ChristmasWithPride #Diamondsare4Ever #LGBTQLLove,” the post was captioned.
Boosie’s gift comes after the rapper was called out by his daughter Poison Ivi for criticizing her gender.
“He told you all that he didn’t want my girlfriend around but he didn’t tell you all that she was around. And when she was around, he wouldn’t ever come to me and say, ‘Let’s take her home.’ He never said that,” she said above Project Danza, Toxic.
“Another thing is: if he came to me and said, ‘I love you, I respect you, but I just don’t want you to bring your girlfriend home,’ then I would respect him. But [he] never said anything,” she added.
Boosie previously spoke on Yung Miami’s Caresha please that he did not want his daughter to “contaminate” his other children.
“She still cannot bring her situation to our house […] because I don’t want that to taint the six or seven other sisters who look up to her. I want them to raise these grandchildren properly. If I want to have grandchildren the right way, that’s what I’m standing on. If I don’t want my other little girl to look at that and say, ‘What is that, Dad?’ With someone she admires? It won’t come around me [house].”
He went on to share that his grandfather did not allow it and neither did his father.
