Bradley Whitford (born October 10, 1959) is a famous American actor and producer. He is best known for his role as White House Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman in the NBC political drama The West Wing.
The show aired from 1999 to 2006, and then from 2001 to 2003. He also received three consecutive Golden Globe nominations for this role.
Bradley Whitford played Danny Tripp in Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Dan Stark in Fox’s police comedy Goodfellas, Timothy Carter in CBS’s The Mentalist, and villain Eric Gordon in Billy Madison. He played Arthur Parsons in The Post, Dean Armitage in Get Out, Roger Peralta in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Rick Stanton in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Early life and education
Bradley Whitford was born in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. He was born on October 10, 1959 to Genevieve Louise Whitford and George Van Norman Whitford. From the age of three to fourteen, he lived in Wayne, Pennsylvania.
His mother was a poet who later lived in the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia. He has a brother named David Whitford. He was raised in a Quaker family. He graduated from Madison East High School in 1977.
Bradley Whitford graduated with a BA from Wesleyan University in 1981, where he was roommates with producer Paul Schiff. He later became a member of the “14th Group” at the Juilliard School of Drama.

Bradley Whitford married actress Jane Kaczmarak in August 1992 and they have three lovely and hardworking children.
His children are Frances Genevieve Whitford, George Edward Whitford and Mary Louisa Whitford, born in October 1997, December 1999 and December 2000 respectively.
