early life and education
Brett Ratner was born on March 28, 1969 in Miami Beach, Florida, to Marsha Presman and businessman Ronald Ratner ). He has a younger brother named Max Ratner.
Ratner attended Rabbi Alexander S. Gross Hebrew Academy and Alexander Moos High School in Israel. He graduated from Miami Beach High School in 1986, then received a degree from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1990, where he studied film.
