Early life
Bruce Willis was born on March 19, 1955, in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany. Bruce Willis’ mother was from Kassel, Germany, and his father was an American soldier. Bruce Willis’ father was a welder, master mechanic, and factory worker.
While his mother worked at a bank, Bruce had a speech problem while in high school, and many of his friends teased him about it. He began acting on stage and quickly overcame his stutter.
However, he moved to Penns Grove, New Jersey. After graduating from high school, Bruce worked as a security guard at a nuclear power plant, his first job. He also worked as a driver at a DuPont plant.
