Call of Duty: Modern Zombies
“Call of Duty: World at War – Zombies” (Call of Duty: World at War – Zombies), also known as “Call of Duty: Zombies”, is a first-person shooting game produced by Ideaworks Game Studio and published by Activision for iOS. . A spin-off from the Call of Duty series, it’s inspired by the Zombies mode in Call of Duty: World at War.
The game was released globally on iPhone on November 16, 2009, and later on iPad on April 1, 2010.[3] Players can participate in multiplayer cooperative games locally via ad hoc Wi-Fi or Bluetooth networks or globally over the Internet. Additionally, the game includes three other maps: Verrückt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese. Activision later released a sequel to the game called Call of Duty: Black Ops – Zombies.
Call of Duty Zombies Equipment Tier List
S class
When exploring Call of Duty Zombies’ powerful arsenal, top-tier S-tier gear stands out. Little Arnis and the Androids not only lure the undead, but destroy them with devastating efficiency. The Hacker proves to be a savvy financial ally, allowing cautious players to amass vast fortunes, while the Time Bomb doubles the perks and revisits the early stages of the game.
The Aether Blade and Hell Hound are deadly thrown weapons returning to players, complementing defensive tools like Fafnir Guards and offensive marvels like Nansapwi Skull, ensuring strong protection and significant damage output.
Class A
In the A-level category, the top regular gear items in the game shine. Ghost Fire is a deadly option that stands out for its ability to quickly wipe out entire zombie hordes with a relatively quick recharge time. Decoy grenades are a tactical option that serve as easily replenished monkey bombs without explosive consequences, allowing for faster deployment.
While Monkey Bombs are effective, their delayed activation makes them inferior to Arnie and Gnome. Sekhmet’s energy is similar to the Revival Rod, and despite occasional inaccuracies, it has proven to be very effective. Pegasus Strike, while enjoyable and powerful, suffers from the limitation of how often it can be used. Siegfried’s Gauntlet, while powerful, can be risky in high rounds due to its heavy hits, although Cub’s Flame is useful.

Class B
The B Tier in Call of Duty Zombies offers a range of mid-range options. Incendiaries, while effective, pale in comparison to Ghost Fire. Mines and explosive devices (like Betty’s and Broadsword), while reliable, aren’t the most powerful. The C4’s controlled explosion is an advantage, but the limited blast radius hinders impact.
Throwing knives will cause a lot of damage to the mini-boss, and the rocket shield’s special ability, although protective, may cause injuries to the player. The Annihilator’s one-hit kill wears off quickly, as does the gas grenade’s impact. The thrills in Modern Warfare Zombies are slower, the stakes are higher, and the unpredictable effects of QED make it less reliable.
Class C
While there are no truly bad Call of Duty zombie gears, caution is advised. EMP grenades are notorious for tricking or complicating games, potentially having unintended consequences such as closing mystery boxes. Acid bombs and Semtex grenades can cause dangerous situations, with trapped zombies dealing splash damage.
In Modern Warfare Zombies, Drill Charge lacks utility outside of dealing with shielded enemies. Thermite, stun rods, scatter mines, bolt grenades and smoke grenades have better alternatives such as incendiary grenades, stun grenades, shatter blasts, death sense and aether shield.

Call of Duty: Modern Zombies Game
The main goal of the game is to survive successive waves of zombie invasions, which increase in difficulty with each round. Players start with a Colt 1911, equipped with a combat knife for melee attacks, and up to 4 grenades. Throughout the game, defeating zombies earns players points that can be used to purchase weapons, perks, and access to various map areas. Certain waves introduce different zombie types, such as zombie hellhounds.
Zombies breach the barricade entrance from outside the playable map. As the rounds progress, zombies become better at taking down barricades quickly. Players earn points by killing zombies and repairing roadblocks.
Points can be used to purchase a variety of benefits to enhance players’ abilities. Additionally, sporadic energy drops left behind by defeated zombies will further aid players during gameplay.
Certain maps feature “Easter eggs” that players can discover, allowing them to trigger music, earn rewards, or delve deeper into the series’ mysterious lore.
