It’s that time of year where Camila Cabello makes a grand return once again to remind us that “quizmois” is here.
In a video posted to her TikTok account on November 21, Cabello humorously poked fun at the way she pronounces the word “Christmas” in the viral 2021 rendition of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas “.
The clip shows Cabello appearing from behind a gate with a mischievous look on his face and a finger touching his lips. It then cuts to her dancing in a park before she can be seen playfully tucking her hair behind her ear. At the end, the singer appeared with elves and other Christmas figurines on her.
“It’s time,” she captioned the video.
People in the video’s comments section playfully celebrated her way of talking about Christmas by joking with the singer.
“I’m feeling the chwismois spirit,” one person wrote.
“QUISMOIS QUEEN,” another added.
“Ignore Mariah, we have a new tradition and it’s weird,” one TikTok user quipped.
“SLAYY THIS IS OUR QUISMOIS DIVA GIRLYPOP,” another commenter wrote.
This isn’t the first time Cabello has mocked the way she sings “Christmas” in the song. In 2022, she also posted a TikTok poking fun at the pronunciation.
In one frame, she plays her own voice coach and says to herself, “We’re going to practice some expressions.”
“I’ll be home for Christmas,” she sings before asking a second Camila to try it herself.
“I’ll go home to pick up Quismois,” the second Camila repeated.
She captioned the video: “Me before recording the version of I’ll be home for Christmas (quismois).”
This meme has been around for years now, ever since Cabello released the song on Amazon Music in 2021. However, she first performed the song at the White House as part of a special for for the holiday named after White House: Spirit of the season that year. The song was subsequently made available on all platforms the following year.
