Tensions began after Knowles publicly denounced Owens for spreading what she described as “fake news” about Vice President Kamala Harris. Owens has alleged that Harris paid Beyoncé to appear at a protest in Houston, a claim Knowles strenuously denies.
“This information was flagged on Instagram as fake news and taken down,” Knowles wrote. It’s called Disinformation.” “Beyoncé didn’t receive a dime for speaking at Presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’s rally in Houston.”
In response, Owens accused Knowles and Beyoncé of using their connections at Meta to suppress her posts. She then turned her attention directly to Beyoncé, accusing the “Crazy in Love” singer of losing the cultural relevance she once loved.
Owens, 35, commented: “Ten years ago, Beyoncé and JAY-Z were telling us who to vote for, which would have been important. But that’s not the case anymore. It’s frankly annoying.” “. She then sarcastically added: “Beyoncé, listen to me girlfriend because I know you’re watching. You don’t have to text from your mom’s Instagram account.”
The commenter didn’t stop there, shifting her focus to JAY-Z and his alleged connections to Combs. Owens hinted at the reported controversy surrounding Combs, pressing Queen Bey to address her husband’s alleged affairs. “If you want to start by being authentic,” Owens began, “Maybe give us some answers about Diddy’s parties. Your husband is very close to him.”
Concluding his speech, the author issued a stern warning to Beyoncé, urging her to reconsider how she positions herself. “I really want to warn you to watch which way the wind blows girlfriend. Because it’s not in your favor.”
The scathing commentary sparked debates around Owens’ tendency to target high-profile figures and whether her criticism was politically motivated or a personal attack. Neither Beyoncé, JAY-Z nor Knowles have publicly responded to Owens’ most recent statements as of this writing.
