Akiode Blessing Mariam, better known as Candy Bleakz or Ladies Dragon, born on 5 August 1999, is a Nigerian recording artist, songwriter and performer.
She started her music career at the early age of 8. She recorded her first single titled “Blessing Sky” in 2013. She is a student of Physiology at Olabisi Onabajo University.
During Felaboration, she performed twice on the stage and eventually won the African Temple Rookie of the Year Award. Her performances have made a splash in the industry such as Nigezie TV (10th Anniversary) Independence Dinner, Hiptv (Anniversary Birthday Celebration), Africa and the famous Lagos Carnival, Agege, Epe Pastime and Eko Bar Beach Shutdown.
Music career
She began her professional rap career in 2013 after recording her first official single, “Bless the Sky”. Her raps are improvisational and passionate; during Felabration, she gave a first-rate performance at the African Temple.
Candy has participated in many events and won many awards. Her singles achievements, work ethic and determination were recommended by Don L37 who named her the First Lady of Street Billz. Candy is currently a Physiology student at Olabisi Onabanjo University.
