Cardi B fires back amid mansion rental dispute involving Offset

According to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone, the property owner sued the two hip-hop artists, accusing them of breaching the lease and misrepresenting the purpose of the video shoot.

On Tuesday, Cardi responded to the complaints on X (formerly Twitter), saying she and Offset paid $10,000 in cash for the 24-hour rental and additional overage fees.

“We paid those people $10,000 CASH to rent the property for the entire 24 hours of the same day from 6am to 6am the next morning and we exceeded ONE hour that we paid the broker overage fee in March,” Cardi said. tweeted.

She went on to deny allegations that they had misrepresented the photoshoot into a TikTok video, and criticized the property owner.

“Now they want to trick us by saying we told them it was a TikTok video when that was not in the contract and they didn’t listen to the whole song that was playing and didn’t see how long we were shooting,” she added, defending the professional nature of the photoshoot for the “Like What” music video.
